Avid pays time and a half for hours worked by our caregivers on the following holidays: 

  • New Year’s Day
  • Martin Luther King
  • President’s Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

No! Your shift rate will remain the same as it was with the previous company. Paid Time-Off and training reimbursement will be paid out at Avid’s standard rates. 

No! You will keep your normal schedule as it was under the previous company. If you’re looking for more work/hours, please contact the office and we can work something out! 

You will use our user-friendly AlayaCare Mobile Application! This is a convenient way to clock in and out of your shifts, see your entire schedule, and document your tasks. Please reference the AlayaCare Guides for additional support.

The new payroll cycle will be from Saturday to Friday, paid every week!
